thumb.aspxThe cotton industry in Kenya has been grappling with many challenges which has lead to low production. Currently there are only six companies dealing with cotton in the country, but this could change as the government plans to distribute seeds to farmers in the cotton growing areas. Afred Busolo, interim director general, Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Authority said the government will be availing certified seeds to 5,000 cotton farmers to address the issue of cotton production.  See more
